Honestly, it is probably a good idea I don't feel compelled to comment on silly Trump shenanigans every week, or I would sound like a broken record. The week there has so far been a rumor about Qatar gifting Trump a 747-8, then the government of Qatar refuting the claim. Most interesting in that whole affair was how it was being set up so Trump would continue to have access to the aircraft after leaving office. Of course, with an AG eager to bless such a deal, it can all be passed off as legal, though how a $400 million gift from another country that he can still use once he has left office doesn't fall foul of the emoluments clause is still beyond me, but, then again, I am no Pam Bondi.
Trade deals are still not happening, though they have announced several that have something of an outline, at least if you are purchasing luxury cars from the UK, you can be assured that there won't be a price increase due to a tariff. To be honest, even though the UK "deal" has many details to work out, it was announced as being done, as someone needed good press, since Hegseth is still acquiring bad press because he prefers unauthorized chat programs.
